Hammett y Hetfield lloraron durante la grabación de un tema con Lou Reed

El proyecto de Metallica y Lou Reed está teniendo cada vez más repercusión mediática. Pasada la marea inicial, todo el mundo está expectante para que ese 1 de noviembre podamos escuchar un trabajo que será histórico.

Se acaba de saber que la emoción y el llanto envolvieron a Hammett y Hetfield durante la grabación del tema «Junior Dad». Kirk explicó que «Mi padre había muerto hacía 3 semanas, tuve que salir del control para irme a llorar. Lo sorprendente es que James llegó al poco tiempo para llorar también».

Se da la circunstancia de que Hetfield fue abandonado por su padre cuando tenía 13 años. En breve se editará un documental al respecto, denominado «Absent», y el líder de Metallica está muy sensible con ese tema. Os dejamos la letra de la canción para que opinéis.
